Permanent bans on igitems apply to individuals, not just accounts, and prevent affected users from registering, purchasing, or selling on the platform again.

Reasons for Permanent Bans

Permanent bans can result from severe violations, including:

  1. Account Recovery Scam: Lifetime bans are issued for intentional account recoveries after the sale. Occasional mistakes resolved quickly do not count.

  2. Chargeback Fraud: Receiving items and then initiating a chargeback through a bank leads to a ban.

  3. Other Scams: Activities like using counterfeit money, failing to deliver paid-for items, or selling stolen goods also result in bans.

  4. Limited Account: Accounts that remain limited for three months due to unresolved warnings escalate to a permanent ban, as detailed in our Limited Account Access article.

Ban Enforcement

Bans are enforced against individuals, prohibiting any new registrations. Attempts to circumvent a ban, such as registering a new account, will result in immediate suspension and potential freezing of involved funds.

Appealing a Ban
