According to our Warning System, sellers who accumulate three active warnings will face account limitations to uphold igitems' commitment to a fair and secure trading platform.
Limited Account Access Explained
Selling Restrictions: Sellers with limited access cannot list new items and current offers are removed from the shop.
Order Management: These sellers retain the ability to manage existing orders to ensure the completion of outstanding transactions.
Fund Withdrawals: Affected sellers can withdraw existing funds, maintaining financial control over completed sales, but the withdrawal may be delayed by up to 4 weeks to ensure all issues are resolved.
Progression to Permanent Ban
Duration: If an account remains limited without resolution for three months, it transitions to a permanent suspension.
Permanent Ban: This status permanently removes all access to the platform and prevents the user from registering for a new account.
Review and Reinstatement: While limited, sellers may request a review of their account status. However, reinstatement or any restoration of privileges is not possible once banned.
Appeal
Single Appeal: Each user may only appeal once.
Waiting Period: Please wait 60 days (2 months) after your access is limited before submitting an appeal. Appeals submitted before this period will be automatically declined.
Permanent Limitations: Restrictions are rarely lifted. Actions such as poor service quality or major guideline violations, including refusal to provide assistance, are not welcome on the platform, and users given a second chance usually cause more issues. We hope for your understanding.
Notification: Users will be informed of the decision via a manual alert on igitems. Duplicate appeals will be closed without further updates.
This escalated measure reinforces the importance of adhering to igitems’ rules, ensuring a trustworthy environment for all marketplace participants.
