The Filter System

To protect our community and ensure compliance with igitems’ guidelines, certain words are blocked from being used in messages.

When a message contains a banned word:

• The message will be hidden from other users (visible only to igitems staff).

• Both users will receive a warning notification about potential issues.

These warnings are reminders only and have no negative consequences by themselves.

If the Filter Triggered by Mistake

If your message was filtered but did not break any rules, simply rephrase your message and continue. No action will be taken against you.

If the Filter Was Correct

If the filtered message contained prohibited content, you must stop.

• One-time mistakes usually result in no penalty.

• Repeated or intentional violations may result in warnings or suspension.

• Trying to bypass the filter system is considered a serious violation.

General Filters

Words that are generally prohibited:

• Sharing private contact information

• Referencing other marketplaces

• Requesting payment outside of igitems
