Official Limitation-Appeal
Sellers whose selling privileges were revoked due to an account limitation, following severe or repeated guideline violations now have a chance to open a formal appeal. Appeals are reviewed by admins, terms only apply if the appeal is approved.
If declined
The limitation remains in place. Seller must assist buyers & withdraw funds. The account becomes suspended after 3 months
If approved
All warnings become inactive
Selling access restored
The security deposit is frozen from seller's balance
Security deposit
25% of all earnings from the last 365 days
Deducted from the balance immediately
Can be withdrawn when leaving the platform
or after a manual agreement following years of good working relationship
Security deposit withdrawal terms
Clean exit
If you leave igitems with no ongoing disputes or unresolved issues, you may request withdrawal of your deposit 30 days after your account is disabled, or provide prior notice, allowing us time to review your orders. Note: Naturally, your other withdrawals are processed without delay.
Removal due to issues
If your account is removed due to problems with your sales, ToS breaches, or complaints from buyers, the deposit may be withdrawn after 120 days from the restriction.
Complaints or chargebacks
If, during the holding period, buyers submit official complaints or chargebacks related to your sales, the withdrawal deadline will be extended until the issue is fully resolved, or for an additional 30 days β whichever period is longer.
Refusal to cooperate
If you refuse to: address buyer complaints, or cooperate with IGItems in resolving reported issues, you will forfeit the security deposit due to material breach of these terms.
