Price uniformity
In the past offer prices used to be rather random, with some ending in 1.1 and others at .9 or 0.0 This made it difficult to read, when scrolling the list of offers, difficult to compare.
In order to maintain a professional & easy to browse marketplace we standardized how prices can be set.
What does this mean in practice?
Above 3$ offer price you can no longer set decimals, prices are set to automatically end in .99
Above 45$ we also somewhat restrict, what the last whole digit of the price may be, so it is slightly rounded towards X9.99, however, this restriction is always 2% or less of the offer price, with it's impact becomming practically neglectable at high prices.
Minimum price
For certain categories, a minimum price is enforced, preventing listings below a set threshold. This measure combats penetrative and predatory pricing.
Currencies can't be sold for less than 0.5$/unit, while accounts 2.8$, while in certain, well-researched categories we may introduce further guidelines for pricing.
Clash of Clans Price Guidelines
After frequent requests from the most respected members of our community we introduced special guidelines for Clash of Clans. In Coc we also provide depending on the details of the accounts. Based on the townhall level, maxed or nearly maxed accounts receive a suggested price minimum for these accounts. This price was set below the market standards, merely in place to prevent new sellers from severely undercutting fair prices in order to gain market share and has been both popular and effective in this regard. We understand that it is causing some sellers discomfort to not be able to list valuable accounts below a certain price, but we hope you understand that for the community as a whole this is a healthy aproach.
